From Army kitchens to Main Street
Jay Johnson is a New Jersey native and Army veteran who spent years cooking and managing in restaurants before starting Jay's Italian Ice. He wanted to show his granddaughter that you can build something of your own — so he did, keeping it simple with a classic Italian ice recipe that never needed reinventing. She's still by his side at the stand today.
Every flavor is made with real fruit — no high-fructose corn syrup, gluten-free, and non-dairy. Light, refreshing, and easy to love. You'll find the stand at the Fitchburg Public Market at 35 Main Street and at events around Fitchburg, Leominster, and Lunenburg all summer.
